Digging Around Our Lines

Don’t take a chance when you dig. Play it safe, obey the law and call 811 so that utilities can mark the location of underground pipelines and cables in your project area.

Pennsylvania and Maryland laws require homeowners and contractors to call at least three working days before digging. If you have contractors performing work for you, ask them to call.

If you damage a gas pipeline while digging, you endanger your safety and the safety of others. You may also be liable for costly repairs.
