Customer Assistance Program
The Customer Assistance Program is a special discounted rate program for low-income households (those at or below 150 percent of the federal poverty level) that use natural gas heat, have overdue balances and are unable to pay.
Customers who qualify for CAP will benefit from a rate reduction based on ability to pay, forgiveness of their overdue balance over a specified period of time and referrals to other community programs and services.
